OUR PHILOSOPHY
At 4 Big Kids, we proudly welcome all families and celebrate the unique cultures, experiences, and strengths each one brings to our Out of School Hours Care community. We believe diversity makes our service richer, stronger, and more meaningful for everyone.
Our focus is on creating a space where children feel comfortable, confident, and truly at home—a place where they’re free to explore, play, and help shape the experiences we plan together.
We value our children, families, and educators equally. Our educators strive to be positive role models and mentors, using encouragement, guidance, and positive reinforcement to support every child. In our relaxed and happy environment, children can build strong friendships, feel at ease, and engage in play-based learning within a natural and sustainable setting.
We work closely with local services and community groups to support children’s social and emotional development. Our educators also take part in ongoing professional development aligned with the My Time, Our Place framework and the National Quality Standards for Outside School Hours Care, ensuring best practice at all times.
Families are encouraged to share ideas, feedback, and suggestions—we believe open communication is the key to achieving the best outcomes for children.
Our program is guided by children’s interests and individual needs, and our centre offers a safe, secure, and nurturing environment—a true home away from home for all 4 Big Kids families 🏡✨
Our Services
As part of the National Regulations, all approved services have a Quality Improvement Plan (QIP). Think of it as our roadmap for making sure we’re always growing, improving, and providing the very best care for your children.
Since opening our doors in late June 2023, we’ve been busy reviewing, refining, and improving all areas of our service. Every change we’ve made has been guided by one goal: creating a safe, fun, and nurturing environment where children can thrive.

Our Story
Once upon a time, two Family Day Care providers saw a need in the local community for school aged children to have a place of their own! 4 Big Kids was established in 2007, we are a registered child care service licensed through the Department for Communities Education and Care Regulatory Unit.
Pop in and have a chat with the educators at these centres during opening times, We look forward to welcoming lots of new families to our service.
